Movepod podiatrist Patrick O’Connell is passionate about keeping people moving. He strongly believes in giving his clients the power to take control of their health and lifestyle. You can find Patrick as part of the Geelong Podiatry team and Torquay Podiatry team throughout the week.

Being a Podiatrist, Patrick is your lower limb injury expert and can assist you with a wide range of injuries including ankle sprains, heel pain, shin splints, and many more! He combines his personal experiences in overcoming injuries with sound clinical knowledge to help you step-by-step through your treatment and rehab.

A member of Australia Podiatry Association and Sports Medicine Australia, Podiatrist Pat is well connected through the sports medicine and allied health industries allowing him to be up to date on all current research.

As a qualified athletics coach, Pat knows how important efficiency and load management are in injury prevention. Using video gait technology, he provides of running assessment, walking assessment and gait retraining to prevent injuries and ensure you are reaching your peak performance. He enjoys applying this knowledge to educate his patients and work with a number of running groups, gyms and sporting clubs in the Geelong and Surf Coast region. If required, Pat is skilled in the prescription of 3D scanned and 3D printed customised foot orthotics, once again used to improve lower limb and foot function.
Pat remains well connected with a number of local casual and sporting shoe stores in Geelong and Torquay to ensure you get the best footwear recommendations as part of your management.

Pat has a love of sport, competing for over 10 years in athletics / running, football and cricket. He is now a recreational runner and enjoys participating in road and trail events. He utilises his personal and professional experiences within sport to assist you with injury management and prevention.
